DIRECTORS CORNER!

Joe&Charlotte Calvary Commission began in 1977 as a missions organization providing training, career missionary placement, and humanitarian assistance in the United State and other countries . The international offices are located in Lindale, Texas. We provide volunteer chaplains for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and an aftercare program for approved inmates who desire ministry training and an opportunity to serve the Lord in any capacity upon their release.

Join us in prayer as we seek to see His kingdom come and His will be done in our world today.

May We Share Our Hearts With You?

When Jesus saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion and said to pray for laborers - missionaries and willing Christians.

Jesus said, “Send out laborers! My prayer continues today, “Lord, you send them in and we will train them and send them out!” The prophet Ezekiel saw need for a chain of hope.

'Make a chain, for the land is filled with crimes of blood, and the city is full of violence. Ezekiel 7:23

This “Chain of Hope” has many links as the Church reaches out to the whole world.

Many of the links are still locked up in prisons but their chains will break as our “Commissioners” take in a message of hope. The orphaned children are crying out for God’s love and care. Our Josiah and Bethany Children Homes in Mexico and India give hope to children.

In 1977, praying for confirmation to begin Calvary Commission, the Holy Spirit urged me to open my Bible. With tears on my face I began with Isaiah 54:2-3. It spoke of enlarging and expanding.

We felt God was saying, “Yes!” and 14 parolees became a chain of hope. Now, 31 plus years later we continue to receive, train and send forth workers on strategic missions to difficult places.

We are constructing an Education Center at our Lindale, Texas campus. Will you join us as a link in this Chain of Hope through prayer and giving?

With this new step of faith, confirmation came again with Isaiah 54.

Clear lots of ground for your tents. Make your tent large. Spread Out! Think Big!

Use plenty of rope. Drive the tent pegs deep.

You’re going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family.

You’re going to take over whole nations. You’re going to resettle abandoned cities. Don’t be afraid – you’re not going to be embarrassed. Don’t hold back. You’re not going to come up short. (The Message)
