Beginning in 1986 in Reynosa, Mexico as The International Missions Institute, the International Center Of Missions has prepared students to serve in foreign countries. CBI, a college- level Missions Institute, Calvary International Bible Institute and Theological Seminary are designed to be an on-the-job- Bible Training Center.
Calvary Commission has been involved in prison ministry since 1977 and has open doors in Texas prisons with excellent opportunities to give the student hands on training.

CBI involves the missions
minded student in an on-the-job missions training experience students with
critical involvement in the challenge of evangelism and discipling. There are
various options with participating Calvary Commission bases offering an
opportunity to live and study on the foreign field. Foreign locations will
feature language study as well as continued academics. The MIT PROGRAM
(Missionary In Training) provides an internship and possible future placement on
the field. Our graduates have entered the field and include pastors,
missionaries, orphanage childcare ministers, educators, nurses, and even a
doctor serving with Calvary Commission in medical missions.

All English speaking students begin their study program at the World Commission Center on the beautiful East Texas campus in Lindale, Texas. A missions practicum is available and is a summer requirement with options for foreign missions studies and experience in countries including Romania, Belize, & Mexico. The International College of Missions is a School of the Bible, a School of Prayer, and a School of the Holy Spirit equipping missions-minded followers of Jesus to go to difficult places and be hope, help, and good news in reaching out to the lost and hurting of our world and developing the student to be able to use proven hands-on methods of cross cultural communication and missiology.
