All of us dream of making a positive difference in
life, but how? Mexico Christmas Outreach '08 is an opportunity to do just that.
On December 19th-23rd 2008, people from across the USA will come together for a week of
hands on mission's work in Reynosa, Mexico. Ministry opportunities include:
outdoor rallies, door to door evangelism, care ministry and relationship
building with the children of the Josiah and Bethany Children's Home, prison
ministry, food and clothing distribution, local church ministry, plus a downtown shopping opportunity in the Reynosa market. Each person will have a chance
to serve, whether in public ministry or behind the scenes, according to their
gifts. Also, there is an ongoing need for beans and rice, children's clothing
(socks, underwear and shoes), Spanish Bibles, medicine, hygiene products and
toys (new or in great shape). We will also be giving out Christmas toys to
children in need.
Details:
1. Inoculations are NOT required.2. No Passport Required Until 2009
3. Must be 16 years of age or older, under 18 must have parental consent form filled out by parents.
4. Per person cost includes lunch and dinner means, plus hotel and ministry expenses.
5. Travels cost is the responsibility of the group or individual.
6. Spending money, quick breakfast foods, bottled water, and hand sanitizer are a good idea.
7. Continental and American Airlines, as well as Greyhound Bus Lines service McAllen, Texas. If you drive you may park your car in a secure location at the Calvary Commission Missions Center in Hidalgo, Texas just across the border from Reynosa.
8. Guest workers will stay in Best Western El Camino Inn while in Reynosa, Mexico.

How to apply: We will need you to ask for an application and pastoral reference forms. We will provide a Calvary Commission representative to talk with you about the outreach giving details and answering your questions.
