Joe Fauss has been the International Director of Calvary Commission from 1977 until present. He is an Ordained Minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, a graduate of S.A.G.U. in Waxahachie, Texas with a B.C.A. in Missions and holds a Master of Arts degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Vision International University. His wife, Charlotte Fauss, is a retired teacher at the Lindale ISD and the Tyler ISD and holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Jody Fauss and his family have been with Calvary Commission from the beginning. Jody Fauss serves as Calvary Commission’s Treasurer of the Board of Director’s. He and his wife, Anne are the Children’s Pastors with the Church of Living Hope in Tyler, TX (a Calvary Commission church plant). Jody Fauss and his family are assets to the Calvary Commission team and pillars to our community.

John Owens has been the National Representative for Calvary Commission from 2003 until the present. He is an ordained minister and has served as a volunteer chaplain in the Texas Prison System since 1987. He and his wife Connie have raised 4 children. Connie is a retired insurance agent/owner and now is a stay at home grandmother. The two of them stay very busy answering a call in their lives bringing comfort to the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable.

Patrick and Cyndi Heese who work out of the Lindale Calvary Commission Center, oversee the application process for perspective students who are currently incarcerated and looking for a place of discipleship. They also teach classes on campus and help with the discipleship team in ministering to the student body.

Glenn and Sally Clark are non-traditional missionaries, based in Roanoke, Virginia. They have led work teams from all over the United States to complete construction projects in places including Mexico, Cuba, Kenya, and Zambia. Glenn has presented the hope of Jesus Christ by preaching and leading evangelism conferences in several countries in Africa, Peru, Cuba, India, and Mexico.

Phillip and Joy, along with daughters Krysta, Kayla, and Hannah, were called into ministry and a life of service that began in 1991. After resigning from their first Pastorate of a small congregation, they set out on a much greater journey that brought them to Calvary Commission to be further equipped. Upon completing the two years of Missions training they immediately began serving in the capacity of Pastors at the Church of Living Hope in Tyler, TX.

In January 1979, while Joe Fauss ministered at Wynne Unit of the Texas Department of Corrections the Lord confirmed my calling to come to Calvary Commission. I sat foot in Calvary Commission, Lindale Tx., on August 19, 1982 and went through the discileship training. In September 1983 I was sent to Hidalgo, Tx. by the Calvary Commission leadership to pastor the mission there.

Jerry Williams has been with Calvary Commission since 2000. Jerry’s life was changed and transformed here at Calvary Commission. He came to Calvary Commission longing to experience more of the Lord; and that he did.

Tom and Tina Hill are dedicated to serving the Body of Christ. They have a passion for discipleship and to equip the saints to become all that God has called them to be. They have co-labored with Calvary Commission for 12 years. Tina is serving as the Director of "The Refuge" - an extension of Calvary Commission that is very dear to her heart. The Hill's minister as teachers, counselors and friends.

Having worked with women and prayer ministries for the last 25 years, the Lord opened the door for me to be involved in Calvary Commission's After-Care Program in 2007. Earlier that year, I had been invited to go with one of Calvary Commission's women's outreach team to minister together at both Hill Top and Mt. View sections of the Gatesville Prison near Waco, TX. It was there that the Lord impacted my life as never before, and set the course for the remainder of my days for His ultimate purposes and plans.

Bill and Naomi Hayes, Assemblies of God evangelists, have been involved in full time evangelism in the states and other countries of the world (Japan, Kenya, Uganda, Mexico, Peru, Russia, Romania, Bahamas, and Canada) for over forty years. Their goal is to turn the hearts of fathers to their children and children to their fathers (Malachi 4:6).

Krysta knew when she was fourteen years old that the Lord was calling her to Romania. At sixteen, she took the first of many short term trips with Calvary Commission to Romania which confirmed God’s call. After years of prayer and preparation, the Lord opened the door for her to partner with a church in Cisnadie, Romania teaching English at the church-based kindergarten and helping in the youth group.

Gary and Amelia Tebbe work in education and church planting in Peru. In 2010 they founded the Christian School of the Andes in the mountain city of Huánuco. This small elementary and secondary school provides Christ-centered education for Peruvian children. Along with local Christians, the Tebbes established the Church of the Good Shepherd in 2012. The church seeks to lead Peruvian people to the joy-filled life of faith in Christ. Gary and Amelia have two sons; Benjamin (age 14) and Bracy (age 10). Both boys love to fish, hike, read and play “fútbol” (soccer).

I was called to Belize Central America, and I have been working here for 21 years. I came to Belize, in October of 1987, with a one way ticket, and everything I owned. Joe Fauss, and I came together, but he left after a short visit, and I stayed. Calvary Commission Belize, was pretty much always involved in prison ministry, discipleship, and some aftercare. So after a while, pretty much everyone left but me, so then I mainly focused on ministering in all the prison of Belize. Now there is only one prison in the nation of Belize, and I am the volunteer Chaplain there, 5 day a week.

Nathan, Laura and their son Jonathan have been called to Central Mexico working in the largest city in the state, León, Guanajuato. They are expanding the Lord's kingdom through local church planting and raising up local leaders. They have been working in León since 2005.

I am passionate about seeing people know God. As people get to know the God of the Bible for who He is, in Him they will find the keys to how to live life, how to be better parents, teachers, accountants, lawyers, policy makers… my calling and purpose I believe is to help people get started on this journey, by showing Him to them, especially young people. I believe the key to seeing the nations of Africa transformed lies in raising up the next generation to walk in His ways, not more aid.

Elvin and Leslie have started a company and are running community projects in Eastern Europe.
