When a van load of Commissioners crossed the Rio Grande River in 1978, little did we know what God had in His mind for strategic missions in Mexico. Today, church planting, tribal missions, children's homes, and prison ministry are meeting needs in Reynosa, Mexico City, Leon, Tulancingo and tribal villages in he states of Hidalgo and Chihuahua. The Josiah and Bethany Children's Home has reached out to orphaned and neglected children since 1986.

The Belize Prison System has drastically improved since Calvary Commission teams pioneered ministry there in 1983. Today, Jeffrey Nickell has become the first chaplain and ministers to the inmates in general population as well as the Inner Change Faith Based section and has now initiated an Aftercare Center. Jeff was released from Eastham Prison in 1984 and continues to serve as a Calvary Commission missionary along with his wife, Ruby.

	ROMANIA At an early prayer meeting in 1977, Dell Lawton said, "I believe God is calling Calvary Commission to a communist country." What seemed impossible became a reality in 1990 as a team crossed Eastern Europe borders arriving into the deprived and neglected country of Romania. Today we are affiliated with churches in Sibiu, Cisnadie, and Timisoara which also includes prison ministry.

PERU After establishing a thriving church in Mexico City, Chrissy and Valarie ventured into the heart of Peru. Their efforts paid off and now there is a flourishing body of Christ in Lima, Peru.

In 1990, the staff of Calvary Commission believed that their worldwide missions emphasis should include local outreach and a felt a burden for the inner-city of nearby Tyler. The growing congregation took a step of faith and in 2004 purchased a colonial style home. The vision includes outreach, worship, intercession, discipleship, and a Bible College. The pastor is Dr. Phillip and Joy Dillon.

In 1994, a team traveled into Cuba to meet some humanitarian needs. The contacts became lasting relationships that led into strategic training of church planters, pastors, and specialized ministry in hospitals and the incarcerated. Carefully trained teams continue to take hope into Cuba upon official invitation with the required visas by the Cuban government and permission and license from the U.S.

In 1986, Joab Lohara, connected with Calvary Commission with a passionate vision for unreached tribes and meeting humanitarian needs and providing literacy programs, orphanages, and feeding centers. Today, Calvary Commission / Aim Asia have a network over 700 churches and literacy centers. Dr. Joab Lohara along with his wife Suchitra and their two sons base in Hyderabad and supervise 518 workers. Carefully selected teams travel with Dr. Lohara on specialized missions.

	We here at Calvary Commission offer short-term mission opportunities to anyone willing to go and serve foreign people groups. Our short-term mission trips will give you a hands on opportunity to serve and testify. If you have a desire to make a difference in our world with an impacting witness, you can get your feet wet in missions or if you have had previous missions experience, you will be re-charged with an opportunity to confirm your missionary heart.
